SUPPLEMENT REVIEW VPX SHOTGUN WATERMELON

Taste 4.5 STARS
Mixability 4 STARS
Digestibility 5 STARS
Pump 3 STARS
Vascularity 4.5 STARS
Intensity 3 STARS
Strength 3 STARS
Endurance 4 STARS
Cost Per Serve $3.23-$3.76 depending on tub size.

General comments-This is a pre workout drink that tastes good, its on even par with Gaspari Super Pump. It does foam up a little more than i would have thought. It does give you the Beta Alanine tingles but only slight, it does however contain 20 grams of protein. I like this fact a lot, other ingredients in there are in the proprietary blend so exact amounts are unknown. The highlight for me was the vascularity. I have had over 10 packets and the veins were much more pronounced than normal. The pumps are there and above average, endurance is up, strength only up marginally. Over all a good product depending on your goals.

SUPPLEMENT REVIEW UPDATE

I am still also using the CytoSport Monster Amino range of supplements. This is my overview of what i think of the products. I have used these 3 products stacked on training days off and on for a few weeks now. I feel they are good products, not outstanding in taste but in performance they rate a good mention. My last workout today using the stack was great, i was swole after using the supps and can put it down to the carbs that are present in the 3 products as helping. My workout today consisted of a upper body workout using one exercise per body part and using a maximum of 75% of my 1RM on my 3rd set. Total sets were 15 and my rep range was 20,15,10.

I was surprised at how little work got myself so swole and vascular. There was a afternoon crash which is not unexpected with some of these types of products. The only other thing i could mention is that with the amount of each serving you are getting 95 grams of carbs and many B vitamins, and potassium in 3 products. Also you are having about 1 litre of water. Its a lot to get through in roughly 1 hour and half hours. Overall i am happy with trying these products. My only bug bear would be to improve the taste of 2 of these.

UPDATE TIME

Its been a little while for me. I haven't trained for over 2 weeks and started feeling a bit run down. I've been detoxing a bit and had some blood work done at the natroupath. I'm iron deficient, have a virus, need some help with gut health and run down. Most of this is probably lifestyle and work, other maybe from the bad gastro bug i had at Christmas time. My other major one was my lactose intolerance and possible gluten allergy. I've been lactose intolerant for a number of years now. Recently it's become worse with only small amounts of dairy sending me to the porcelain god. Over the weekend i started a mild detox, excluding all dairy and wheat based foods. Added in fresh pineapple for the bromaline at brekkie, lean cuts of meat, more water, more veg, and have taken out as much sugar, processed food and coffee. The pineapple helps with digestive enzymes for proteins, some bb'ers have been using this and also beetroot has a NO type effect before training. Try it, its cheap, but dont buy canned.

Supplement wise i have little left to review right now. I was hoping to do the Primordial Pre-Max (its good) review but need more hardcore gym sessions yet. Other than that some supps i though may be here now havent showed up. On a positive note i have been through a supplement manufacturers factory and seen a different side of the supplement industry. (positive) The reason for doing this was to first see what quality the raws are and to see the general process's that the supps go through for packaging. I have a supp business registered called Pro Supps and maybe blending some of my own products in the future. I will be overseeing the quality control and formulations. The accredited business does the rest. I will be touring other facilitys before i make my decision. I also have another supplement business idea that no one else is doing that will realy help in a financial way for members watching there pennys. I will be speaking with the mods here when the time comes. More importantly the reviews stay the same.

My aim when i started the reviews was to try as many products as possible, find the quality products that meet the expectations i have and share this knowledge with as many members and guest here as possible. Even though i have a vested interest you can sleep easy knowing that i do not have a conflict of interest. Supplements are what they are and it is what it is, fact or crap i will write it up here.

Need more product to review so its time for me to start emailing and getting on the blower.

An Aussie Supp company here on the coast has been spreading around OZ like wildfire.  Australian Sports Nutrition.  I have been getting my gear and advice from them for the last 2 years and they know their stuff.  Has anyone else tried any of their Evolve range?

Im currently using:
Pre-workout - Evolve Pump Action
During - Scivation's Xtend
Post workout - Evolve Anabolic Injection Protein
Fat Burner - ALRI Poison
Test Support/booster - Fusion Zeus
Protein - Evolve 3 whey

ASN are very overpriced IMO. There's a pile of Aussie supp shops who will beat ASN's VIP prices.

ASN do the Evolve range themself's. I tried the Evolve Pump Action at the Fitness Expo last year, it tasted alright. Wasnt training there so dont know how it performed. Price wise you will always find someone who is cheaper than his competitors. I have one of there Harden The F*#K Up singlets, $35 but it was worth it, consider people are paying $90 for MMA T/Shirts. Ill call them and see what i can get out of them to review.

Get in touch with Tristan the manager at the Mermaid Beach Store, he is a top fella and has a couple of Natural BB titles from 2008/09
Tell him Mooney sent you Wink
Price wise I find them comparable on most products as Evolve is their own they can be more flexible on the prices.  I value advice and knowledge higher then low prices!
Love the HTFU shirts too, I have a few of them from over the last 2 yrs.

UPDATE TIME

I had organised some products from Infinite Labs to come from the states. The guy i went through Chad is on Muscular Developlment forums and i contacted him before Christmas. He told me they were on there way which i thought was great, anyway Nothing has turned up. Another side project i was working on was to replicate my reviews on the MD forum, i had been in contact with 3 different manufacturers in the States, Primordial, Infinite Labs and Gaspari. Jim from Primordial has sent product out to me, Liz Gaspari was very interested and gave my details to another person there to send out some product and Infinite Labs was the 3rd one who agreed to send product. The MD proposal was for there supplement store to give me samples of products i have not done yet and they retired to think about it. Being a astute company Steve Bleachman and Robbie Durrand  had asked who has supported me so far and i name dropped the 3 above as helping me out just now. They ended up in the CEO's office at Infinite Labs and when this was mentioned the rep Chad had his ass yelled out for this. Where the plot thickens is they sponsor Lee Priest and just cancelled his contract through there lawyers as Lee is bringing out his own line of supps, and had this disclosed in his contract which has been posted up on the Infinite Labs site for all to read. Lee's missus messaged me stating that Lees products had turned up many times where they told me mine had been seized and returned. To cut a long story short, i have no products from Infinite Labs and they have lied repeatdly about this and now the boss is using Chads user name to discredit me and Lee Priest over at MD. Also my proposal was turned down by MD due to them not wanting negative reviews for there advertisers. The whole saga is still going on and Lee Priest is being sued now for nothing he has done wrong. It's hard when  some companys have morons standing in the way of good products. This is the worst case of my good intentions coming unstuck for all involved.
