I'm sick of drinking shakes.

Food is always the first choice, the shakes are just a convenience - still would be nice if there was an alternative to a drink though.
But I am speaking hypothetically.

It's funny you mention that Kinetic. When I began back in 1980, we not only had protein pills (by the kilogram full), but we also had desiccated liver tablets. Times have certainly changed haven't they! Now it's about which company is going to make a supplement that comes closest in its resemblance of steroids (so the hypers tell us)! I think back in the day, though supplements were not as sophisticated as today, they were not as dangerous either, what with some supplements today lifting you up with about 200mg of caffeine per serving, only to smash you and your adrenal glands later on as time progresses... and you lose the effect, only to look for yet another "magical" new hype.

What the hell happened to honest training, honest eating, honest dedication and discipline? We live in a fast paced society and expect all and everything in between to be just as speedy. If you can't hurry baking a cake, what makes that young mind think that he can hurry muscle growth without (as happens to that cake) either getting burnt or going flat shortly thereafter.

Furthermore, I feel the problem is compounded by nothing more than pure greed, greed by the bodybuilders who aught to know better. So instead of taking the time to educate the ignorant new comer, they take advantage of his ignorance by playing on his weakness that is the attainment of plenty of muscle mass in the shortest time possible, irrespective of the consequences.

I may have raised few points that not all will agree with, but please know that I mean well, and am available for any clarification on anything that may have perhaps offended you. Offending people is not my aim. And yes, I was generalising and getting few issues that bother me off my chest, and sharing them with you. Thanks for landing me your big shoulders gentlemen.

Yep I remember the weider ones.

Probably that and fish oil are really the only true tangible supplements?
