GeeSmash..so that you know...I been telling Danoz (for a while now) that Im a bit worried about his tendencies seeing that he likes "rolling on the mats" with other men...but like you said, if Mick is gentle....Dan will be right! :D

haha my own wife questions my sexuality due to my desire to roll with sweaty men in a basement.  haha :lalala:

Will do mate, appreciate the support.  What I like the most about Mick and other guys like him is that they have the potential to tear you apart but instead they are quite "gentle" when they roll and they teach you along the way.
Thats what I like about EFG in general - because guys like Mick are actual fighters they have nothing to prove, their ego doesnt get you hurt. I came away from another place with cracked ribs and and still have rib cartilege issues to this day from my experience...
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

exactly right Dan.  I once grappled at a local BJJ school and went up against a guy who was at least 130kgs.  Of course he beat  me becuase all he did was lay on me.  Dont get me wrong I dont mind getting beaten, thats how I learn, but getting hurt for the sake of someones ego is just crap.  A training partner of mine got cracked ribs aswell from the same guy.

You're in Canberra yeah? I think i know the school.

My grappling coach weighs in at a massive 60-66 Kg. That 130Kg bloke had a fixation with rolling with my coach, like he was trying to prove something by dominating a guy who is literally half his size.

New timetable at EFG - includes 2 nights / 2 hours of BJJ per week, boxing, kickboxing, ground and pound, and wrestling.
