Hey DanOz,

Just wondering if you could tell me how much they charge for BJJ / MMA training at Penrith Elite? Their site seems to be down at the moment??

Looking at training 2-3 days / week.

Thanks mate

I couldn't recomend a gym for mma any higher than EFG (formerly known as Penrith Elite)! Tama, Jamie and all the boys there are great, they work hard and they fight anyone! One of the best mma teams in the country by far!

Nice mate. What card did you fight on? How did you find your 1st fight?

I fought on the TUFFA 6 fight card in Newcastle in August last year.  It was a funny story how met Mick as we were just training in the basement of our gym in Canberra and Mick rocks up and asks if he can join in, next thing we know we are all spewing from getting smashed.  we only had a couple of sessions with him but we learnt so much and it improved my game ten fold.  I was quite nervous in the lead up to the first fight but I had Mick there to look after me in the corner and I came away with a Rnd 1 TKO victory.

Fantastic stuff. Let us know if you are going to fight again so we can support you.

I have rolled with Mick in a ground submission / bjj class at Penrith some time ago, he is damn good. Its nice training with these kind of people, you learn alot.

Will do mate, appreciate the support.  What I like the most about Mick and other guys like him is that they have the potential to tear you apart but instead they are quite "gentle" when they roll and they teach you along the way.

Haha well as gentle as Mick can be, put it this way I was able to walk after our sessions, whereas I have no doubt he could tear my spine from my body!

GeeSmash..so that you know...I been telling Danoz (for a while now) that Im a bit worried about his tendencies seeing that he likes "rolling on the mats" with other men...but like you said, if Mick is gentle....Dan will be right! :D
